Job Details
Summary: Coordinates with Events and Catering Manager (ECM), assists with set up and break down of events and works with ECM on upcoming events by performing the following duties:
Duties and Responsibilities:
• First point of contact to respond to inquiries
• Schedules calls for potential inquiries
• Processes catering orders
• Meets with clients to show the event space and gives a walkthrough of Taverna
• Assists with setting up the event space, testing lighting, table set up & seat arrangement
• Maintains event calendar in Basecamp and creates menus for prefixed and buyouts
• Uploads all required documents to Basecamp
• Running general errands to aid the ECM and other members of the team
• Coordinates with the kitchen event/ large party menus
• Coordinates calendar
• Creates menu templates
• Assists with filing of menu and cc forms per event/ large party reservations
• Enters reservations • Books all media reservations sent by Currency
PR Qualifications:
• Excellent oral/written communication, coordination and organizational skills
• Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and pre-scheduled events
• Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
• Excellent customer service skills
• 1-2 years experience in a fast past restaurant/catering environment
• Spanish speaking is a plus
• Experience with Resy
• Experience with Toast POS
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
