Join Celebrity Chef Charlie Palmer’s Guest Services Team

We are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic hospitality professional who has a profound interest in food and wine, a strong desire to build culinary knowledge, and a drive to meet the highest standards in our profession.

Offering highly competitive compensation packages, you will work alongside Chef Charlie Palmer & our experienced FOH and BOH mgmt. team and assist with planning and managing the pastry program, along with creating menus and managing daily kitchen activities.

The ideal candidate has a commitment to excellence, works well in a team environment, and has a desire to learn and grow under one of the most renowned Chef's and culinary brands in the country.

Responsibilities:
  • Report to General Manager
  • Ensure proper communication between front of house and back of house during service
  • Actively participate in service: take food and wine orders, assist support staff (clearing & resetting tables)
  • Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings)
  • Ensure front of house employees are clocking in and out according to company policy
  • POS Programing
  • Overseeing restaurant staff performance, ensuring quality dining
  • Assist with preparing shift schedules
  • Close and open restaurant
  • Assist with keeping detailed records of daily, weekly, and monthly costs and revenues
  • Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
  • Respond to guests’ feedback and recommend improvements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-year experience in a qualified restaurant
  • A passion for hospitality, food and beverage and the guest experience
  • Strong organizational & creative problem-solving skills
  • The ability to comfortably lead a team in a busy atmosphere
  • Knowledge on restaurant management software, like OpenTable
  • Creative & Team oriented
  • Fine Dining experience a plus

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($85,000.00 - $95,000.00)

Influenced by his upstate New York childhood experience working in his family’s vegetable garden, Charlie Palmer was an early advocate of farm over factory food.
