Chez Nick, is a neighborhood restaurant located on the Upper East Side that focuses on seasonal New American cuisine and Cocktails. The Chef/Owners come from some of New Yorks best Michelin Starred Restaurants such as Batard, Marc Forgione, Ai Fiori, Khe-Yo and Picholine. The teams' goal is to bring Michelin starred techniques and service to neighborhood friendly dining where guest satisfaction and retention come first. The priority at Chez Nick is to build community loyalty and to be the favorite local spot of the neighborhood and the Floor manager will play a vital role in the customer experience.
The Floor Manager will excel in building the FOH team, help create systems for the restaurant to ensure impeccable hospitality. Guest experience is the most important aspect of our service, the management team must provide all service members with the tools and support to lead each guest through their dining experience.

Ideal Candidates Posess:
- Previous Restaurant Management Experience: 1-2 Years in a Management role
- Passionate for Hospitality and the Guest Experience
- Integrity
- Sense of Urgency
- Attention to detail and organization
- Base knowledge of Food & Wine/Spirits, with a strong desire to learn more
- Passion to Teach and lead a team
- Self directed approach to personal learning and development - embraces giving and receiving feedback
Responsibilities entail but are not limited to the following:
- Hiring and training restaurant staff
- Administrative duties such as but not limited to: inventory, opening & closing procedures, preparing deposits, cash handling, pay outs
- Maintain a safe, secure, healthy work environment for staff
- Ensure all DOH standards are met
- Schedulng
- Ensuring staff is setting up and breaking down restuarant properly
- Guest Satisfaction
- Managing Reservations
- Wine stocking/Liqour organization
