The Front of House Manager position for Landrace Group Inc. is a management role that works closely with the all front-of-house and back-of-house team members. Prospective candidate(s) should be passionate in all areas of service, primarily focusing on the guest experience, remaining present on the floor most of the time.
The ideal candidate is career-minded, motivated, organized and seeking a long-term position with a company to learn and grow with.
Essential Duties:
- Promote our internal culture: hold staff to our high standards but foster a fun atmosphere
- Trains staff to maximizes revenue through increase sales/spending
- Assist with scheduling
- Ensure food is leaving the kitchen in a timely manner and correct, resolving any issues that may arise
- Maintain proper standards behind the bar, especially pertaining to cocktail consistency
- Be comfortable running shifts and taking initiative to solve problems, reaching out for help when appropriate
- Send a daily report with a provided template - communication is key
- Attend weekly meetings with GM and chef, prepare topics to discuss/improve at those times
- Updating payroll on a daily basis
Competencies & Qualifications:
- 2 years in management role, particularly experience in the hospitality industry
- Must be able to lift & carry at least 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand long periods of time
- Ability to work 45-55 hours per week, including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
- Texas Food Handler’s and TABC certification
- Experience with Micros and OpenTable preferred
- A positive attitude and a sense of humor to maintain the vibe

- Communicates effectively with staff and fellow management team as well as ownership
