The Server position for Landrace Group Inc. is a dedicated individual that desires to be
a part of a dynamic service team. Must be capable of multi-tasking and prioritizing
responsibilities and share our passion for genuine hospitality, authentic guest relations
and all things food and beverage.
Essential Functions
- Interact with guests in a friendly and positive manner
- Ability to take food and drink orders from customers accurately and efficiently
- Process guest orders to ensure all items are prepared properly and on a timely basis
- Pickup and deliver orders to patrons; supply proper condiments and acccompaniments
- Use the restaurant’s POS to ring in guest orders
- Collect payments from customers
- Answer cutomer questions about the menu, with the ability to make recommendations
- Prepare and breakdown restaurant tables
- Adhere to sanitations, safety and alcohol beverage control policies
- Promplty address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary
- Assist with special events or other projects as needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Stay updated on current menu choices, specialities and deviations
- Perform basic “sidework” tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
- Help food preparation staff when needed
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Assumes other duties as assigned by company management.
Training and Experience
• Texas TABC permit
• Texas Food Handlers Certification
• 1 year of service experience in a system based, full service high volume restaurant
Skills and Knowledge
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge
Environment and Physical Demands
- Must be able to walk and stand during entire shift
- Continuously reach, bend, lift, carry, stoop and wipe
- Must be able to safetly lift and easily maneuver trays of food weighing up to 50+ pounds
- Frequent washing of hands
- Hazards include, but are not limited to, cuts, slipping, tripping, falls and burns
