Line Cook - Smoque Steak (Avondale) - TRAINING IMMEDIATELY!!

SMOQUE STEAK is both a new style of steak and a new style of steakhouse. As we assemble our Opening Team, we are looking for strong LINE COOK candidates to work within an innovative kitchen.

This is a general kitchen position that is responsible for production and assembly of customer orders. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-volume kitchen is required.

Summary of Position:

  • Reports directly to the Kitchen Manager
  • Hours will range from 30-40/wk based on performance and dependability
  • Must be available to be scheduled Tuesday through Sunday, closed on Mondays. Weekend availability is mandatory
  • This is a semi-open kitchen so professionalism is required

Responsible for food assembly functions including:

  • Correctly and accurately plating customer orders
  • Ensure food quality is up to standards
  • Sanitation practices and cleanliness of kitchen
  • Timely and accurate assembly of customer orders
  • Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Kitchen Manager

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read kitchen tickets from Kitchen Display Screen
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively
  • Be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
  • Must be dependable

Compensation Details

Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $27.00)
