We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sous Chef. The Sous Chef will work alongside the Head Chef to oversee the day-to-day kitchen operations, manage kitchen staff, and ensure the highest quality of food is being served.

Assisting the Head Chef in creating menu planning, recipe development and menu costing

Responsible for hiring, training, and mentoring kitchen staff. Ensure they are following food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Managing a small team of 2-3 total, this position will be hands on with ordering, receiving, prep, recipes, mise en place, and closing.
- Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed, estimating & managing daily production needs. Manage food waste and minimize kicthen expenses.
- Payroll, Scheduling, Labor cost, Food cost, Budgets, and POS proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with Indian cuisine is a plus
This position will likely train for two at the loaction. Initial schedule could require 8am-7pm, 5 days a week while we build our Team to enable a 5 day work week. Closed on Staurdays & Sundays. Salary is extremely competitive given the nature of a food hall environment, much shorter hours than a typical restaurant, and oversight of a smaller location. Bonus program is in develoment; discretionary and based on progress and ability to oversee an opening and dual role.
