House of AN, the restaurant group behind Crustacean Beverly Hills; AnQi South Coast Plaza; AnQi Shaken & Stirred; Tiato Santa Monica; Crustacean San Francisco, and Thanh Long San Francisco, is looking to hire an experienced ASSISTANT GENERAL MANAGER with a BACKGROUND IN BAR MANAGEMENT for our flagship restaurant, Crustacean Beverly Hills.
This is a full-time position with negotiable compensation and benefits. More experience and skill will command higher pay!
Crustacean Beverly Hills has been in business for almost 30 years and we are looking to expand our team with a powerhouse organized and goal-oriented AGM.
Our ideal candidate is a self-starting leader with impeccable customer service skills and conflict-resolution capabilities. You are ready and willing to work as an effective team member with our FOH team!
We are eager to hire a candidate with a strong background in bar management — a huge plus if you're a skilled mixologist as well!
Candidate must have:
- Previous restaurant managerial experience — at least 1-2 years
- A calm disposition with a tenacious spirit
- Experience managing large-scale staff
- Sharp financial management skills and labor law knowledge
- Knowledge of restaurant management software — if you are unfamiliar with our software, you must be adept at learning and picking it up quickly.
- Excellent and effective communication skills
- Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of dining service standards and execution for an upscale casual establishment
- Strong customer service and people skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Food Handler's Certifications
- Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
Some Job Tasks and Responsibilities Will Include:
- Coordinate daily FOH operations with GM and Floor Managers
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints
- Assist in Staff Scheduling
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity
- Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
- Assist in training new and current employees on proper customer service practices as needed
- Implement policies and protocols that will maintain future restaurant operations
- Supervise staff and ensure guests are happy and taken care of
