Jerry’s Bar is seeking an experienced Executive Chef to oversee our culinary operations!
The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background and excellent leadership skills. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, creating menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service.
Responsibilities:
•Create menus that are innovative, visually appealing, and reflect current culinary trends
•Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
•Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
•Manage inventory and food costs to meet budget goals
•Oversee the purchasing of food and supplies
•Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
•Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless operations
•Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
•Monitor and manage kitchen equipment to ensure proper functioning
•Participate in events and promotions to promote the restaurant
Requirements:
•Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef
•Culinary degree or equivalent experience
Experience in managing kitchen staff
•Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
•Excellent communication and leadership skills
•Ability to create innovative and appealing menus
•Strong understanding of inventory management and cost control
•Proven ability to maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation
