RESTAURANT MANAGER
Bindaas Foggy Bottom restaurant is part of Knightsbridge Restaurant Group's acclaimed restaurateur Ashok Bajaj and James Beard Award-winning Chef Vikram Sunderam. Bindaas Foggy Bottom, is a modern, fast, upscale casual concept serving delicious modern Indian food.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the daily operations. You will manage the dining room and oversee all team members to ensure a positive guest experience. You will be responsible for all administrative and organizational functions to ensure a smooth and successful operation.
Other responsibilities of the Restaurant Manager role include:
· Upholding standards of excellence, cleanliness and hospitality
· Leading and training the team
· Managing all functions related to restaurant maintenance
· Handling payroll, scheduling, ordering product
· Focusing attention on team development
· Overseeing inventory, quality, and safety
· Managing the facility
REQUIREMENTS
You must be self-motivated, positive, and possess a passion for fostering a great sense of teamwork. We are seeking experienced professionals with a talent for leading and inspiring others. You must exhibit high standards and be committed to providing the best guest experience.
Other requirements of the Restaurant Manager role include:
· 2 – 3 years minimum in restaurant management preferably in a high volume, fast-paced restaurant environment
· Experience in food safety and planning - food handler certification, strongly preferred
· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be a problem solver and self-starter
· Ability to inspire and lead a diverse team of 15+ team members
· Must exhibit an aptitude for leading, coaching, and driving excellence at every level
· Understanding of financial aspects of business operations.
