All-Purpose - Riverfront is seeking an experienced Manager to join our growing team. As a part of the acclaimed restaurant group behind The Red Hen and Boundary Stone, we have an established reputation for quality, consistency, and warm hospitality.
Located across the street from Nationals Park and less than a half mile from Audi Field, the restaurant overlooks the Anacostia River and the beautiful new Frederick Douglass bridge, All-Purpose has been a primary destination for high-quality meals before and after games and events. And now, we are expanding and diversifying our menu to bring even more of Chef Mike Friedman’s beloved food to the Navy Yard year-round.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including staff management, customer service, and inventory management
- Train, develop and supervise a team of servers, bartenders, and support staff
- Manage scheduling, payroll, and budgets to achieve financial targets
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
- Continuously monitor customer feedback and address concerns to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create and execute seasonal menu changes and promotions
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and partners
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar managerial role in a high-volume, upscale casual dining environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Interest in learning financial aspects of restaurant management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and restaurant management software
- Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- Possession of a DC ABRA manager’s license or the ability to obtain one
- ServSafe certification preferred
