Located in the heart of the West Village, Anton’s Cafe & Wine Bar is a nostalgic New York Café and Wine Bar serving updated old-world cuisine. We are currently growing our team, and looking for a motivated Sommelier with strong leadership intuition. Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of service experience, must demonstrate poise and an overall willingness to contribute to supporting and continuously training all team members. 

Sommeliers are both leaders and a source of support during service. Their primary responsibility is to maintain an acute understanding of the restaurant beverage program, and specifically of the wine list. Additionally, Sommeliers should be active in helping with food service and general table maintenance. They also assist the beverage director, with tasks including ordering, monthly inventory, and education.
