Posting: Ditas marin is hiring a qualified Sous Chef to join our team. Minimum 5 years of experience in fine dining. Preferably with Michelin restaurant experience.
We are creating a team of skilled industry professionals looking to advance their career and flourish within an environment designed to encourage growth. This is a unique opportunity for the right individual to work with a Michelin experienced chef in a stunning location on the Sausalito bay waterfront. Our concept is based around European Asian fusion cuisine. We work with very high end products, including specialty produce, and rare proteins. We require all of our staff to have a respect and love for cuisine as well as the dedication to their craft. We respect that this challenge is not for everyone and we appreciate your honesty ahead of time with being sincere about the requirements mentioned and your commitment to excellence.
Essential job requirements and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Writing and following daily prep lists
-Working with Chef & Sous Chefs to ensure quality and consistency
-Impeccable knife skills and product knowledge
-Strong work ethic and attention to detail
-Knowledge of food storage, and FIFO management
-Ability to multitask and handle pressure
-The ability to communicate well with everyone
-Ability to lift at least 50 lbs
-Efficient and safe work practices
Minimum 5 years restaurant experience required. A degree from an accredited culinary school is preferred, but kitchen experience may be substituted if with the proper institutions.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($70,000.00 - $110,000.00) plus tips
