Stars Rooftop and Grill Room is offering an exciting opportunity for a Assistant Banquet Chef. We are seeking candidates with experience in any of the following cuisines: Classic American, Southern, Seafood and Wood cooking.

All Candidates must possess the below characteristics and will be expected to carry out the below responsibilities.

Assistant Banquet Chefs are responsible for plating up all banquet events from start to finish. These events may include breakfast buffets, corporate lunch meetings and individually plated multi-course dinners. The assistant banquet chef participates in menu development and helps with ordering the required ingredients and supplies. The assistant banquet chef must ensure that the standards of safety of the establishment are followed.

Because of the complexity of the job responsibilities, this is not an entry-level position. This position requires schooling in the culinary arts and some experience in food production and staff supervision.
