The Cook 1 - Jr Sous Chef provides support for the Executive Chef and holds responsibilities as a member of the culinary leadership team.  This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated and driven Cook 1 - Jr Sous Chef to shine in a new environment, starting with breakfast and lunch services.  The Club is looking for a talented individual who can bring life to the food with contemporary presentations and maintain consistency.  The Cook 1 - Jr Sous Chef will assist the Chef with ordering and adhering to the financial goals of the club.  The culinary team must communicate positively and respectfully with all staff and members in this community environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 years experience at Cook 1 - Jr Sous Chef level
• Food & Safety certifications

• Excel in a high-energy, team-based environment
• Leadership, communication, and training skills
• Adaptable to change – can solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach
• Knowledge of special diets (preferred)

• Experience with private events, banquets, and a la carte
• Bilingual- Spanish (preferred)
