REQUIREMENTS:

• ServSafe certified for both Chicago and Illinois
• Culinary/Hospitality Degree preferred but not necessary
• At least 1 year of kitchen management experience preferred
• Organizational Skills and Cleanliness are a must
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, etc)

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Strong understanding and ability to work all Kitchen positions
• Maintaining appropriate prep and par levels to ensure fresh food as well as managing and completing daily prep lists/checklists.
• Obtain and maintain all food safety city and state certifications for self and staff
• Food Inventory performed on a weekly basis with food cost calculated using Ctuit Software linked with ONE POS system
• Any matters regarding health code violations
• All Kitchen ordering (i.e. produce, bread, Sysco, China, paper goods, etc.)
• China/Smallwares maintenance and inventory
• Hiring and Training new kitchen staff.
• Weekly BOH Scheduling and calculating Labor Costs
• Continual Education of FOH staff on menu and food preparation
• Assist with Kitchen Repairs and Equipment Maintenance
• Put systems in place to keep ticket times less than 12 minutes & ensure High-Quality, Consistent Food
• Kitchen & Food Storage Cleanliness and Organization
