Lagniappe
 is one of our guiding principles; Chef Hopkins trained in the great city of New Orleans and learned one of our nation’s great cuisines under some of the top chefs in America. Fresh Briny Oysters, Remoulade, Andouille and Tasso Gumbo, BBQ Shrimp & Crab Ravigote are some of the creole and cajun classics which garnish the menu. We offer a generous and global wine list alongside an amazing cocktail program with both classics like the Sazerac and house made originals such as the Scorched Earth. All drinks are made from scratch by a brigade of bartenders and barbacks.

We are on the search for talented and aspirational Sous Chefs who share our passion for food: where it’s from, how to cook it and how to best serve it!

Summary of Position
The Sous Chef is a highly skilled position which plays an important role in maintaining positive experiences for our team and our guests.  As a Sous Chef, you will lead the kitchen through successful services upholding excellence in every aspect of the guest experience.  You will work in a supervisory role, coordinating closely with the BOH leadership team to support the vision of the restaurant while overseeing both food and staff.  You will maintain a thriving and profitable organization of trained and passionate people celebrating hospitality and creativity while ensuring the consistency of carefully tailored recipes and the deliciousness of each dish our guests receive.

Education/Experience 

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Have at least 5+ years of kitchen leadership experience in fine dining restaurants
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Food safety knowledge
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook 365 and Excel
  • Passion for food, beverage and hospitality is required
  • Possess excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask, manage time and prioritize
  • A high level of personal integrity, professionalism and maturity
  • Proven problem-solving abilities
  • Present a professional image consistent with company standards managing problems, setbacks, and deadlines without becoming visibly frustrated

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary ($50,000.00 - $60,000.00)
