- A minimum of 5 years experience as a line cook in a fast paced enviornment
- Full Time availability, Monday through Friday (No weekends)
- Knowledgeable and experienced in cooking in a fine dining establishment
- Knowledgeable in the area of beer, wine and liquor
- Be a team player
- Able to lift 50 lbs, work on your feet & meet the physical needs of the position
- Able to communicate efficiently and effectively in english, Spanish proficency a plus

The National Democratic Club was founded in 1953
by former members of the Truman administration as a membership organization dedicated to advancing the party principles in a social atmosphere. Many of the members include; White House Officials, members of the United States House of Representative and Senate, and national leaders in business and industry.
The NDC is located on Capitol Hill, within blocks of Congressional office buildings, the Library of Congress, and the US Supreme Court. There is also convenient access to the Capitol South Metro Station (Blue & Orange lines).
The NDC has a variety of club events from our monthly Live Music Night, our Annual Golf Tournament, and various cultural and holiday events throughout the year.
Our members also have access to our Apartment located just around the corner, at 415 New Jersey Ave S.E. This space can be reserved, in advance for intimate sit-down breakfasts, lunches, meetings, as well as for stand-up receptions. Other amenities available to members are the use of our humidors, access membership of the Congressional Federal Credit Union and an on-site CFCU ATM, a mini business center and wireless internet connection.
In addition to our outstanding lunch and dinner menus, our Executive Chef creates daily/weekly specials. The NDC also offers members a full bar with happy hour specials and bar menu. We have a quaint outdoor patio perfect for enjoying a cigar and some comradery.
