Rosetta Hall is seeking a Sous Chef! We have grown to become one of the busiest restaurants in downtown Boulder, with a large indoor dining room and popular rooftop patio. This is a great opportunity to work with a variety of cuisines; Thai, Middle Eastern, Mexican, Sichuan, or our newest concept, Indian! Our sous chefs work with the kitchen management team to ensure every stall is able to execute service. This means training new cooks, checking product quality and quantity, assisting with prep or service and communicating with the Exec Chef and Chef de Cuisine. This is a well-paid job with great benefits in an environment that promotes personal growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures excellent product quality.
- Knowledgeable about where we source from and why.
- Training and development of Line Cooks.
- Maintains par levels and does not sell out of regular menu items.
- Provide friendly, professional & welcoming customer service.
- Ensures all opening & closing checklists are fully performed and completed every day.
- Organizing stalls in a professional, efficient, & aesthetically pleasing way.
- Works with Executive Chef to ensure quality standards are met
- Other duties as assigned by Executive Chef
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of culinary experience.
- Strong communicator and showcases in-depth knowledge of cooking styles, ingredients, equipment and processes.
- Able to multitask effectively and work in a fast paced environment.
- Willingness to cross-train and work in different food concepts
- Must have open and flexible availability to work evenings and weekends.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($60,000.00)
