The Concept: Nestled inside the Accenture tower at 500 W. Madison, The Reserve, is a tenant amenity lounge second to none. The lounge is sleek, minimal, elegant, and precise. We have a straightforward drink menu with signature craft cocktails, wines and a great selection of craft beers. The Reserve is the go-to spot for all tenants in the building and is very busy during the evening hours. The Reserve is only accessible to the tenants of the building with a keycard which means a very sit customer base and no street traffic access.

As Bartender, you are responsible for building connections with our guests through your skills and knowledge in the art of craft cocktails, beer & wine. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet guests and introduce them to menu options and items
- Work with GM on events and other promotions
- Make suggestions based on guest tastes and preferences
- Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from guests
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes
- Managing ordering of product, inventory, and waste, among other operational tools
- Delivering excellent customer service with a professional demeanor
- Execution of mid-shift tasks and cleaning of space as a whole
- Completion of opening/closing checklist, setting the next shift up for success
- Collaborating with the entire team (bar and barista) to provide best-in-class hospitality and efficient service to all guests
- Ability to be a lead, and closer just cleaning bar and helping with orders
Qualifications and Expectations:
- Must have 1+ years of bartender experience.
- Working knowledge of specialty coffee is a plus
- Food Handler & BASSET certification
- Good communication skills, able to have effortless conversations and be comfortable interacting with guests
- Monday - Friday afternoon and early evening availability
- Positive attitude and interpersonal skills along with a strong desire to exceed customer expectations
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time
Compensation & Benefits:
- Open Monday - Friday. Work hours 2pm-8:30pm
- Weekends and holidays off!!!
- $16-$17/hr base pay plus tips ($375 +/week)
