Lost Larson Barista
Baristas at Lost Larson are responsible for making all drinks and maintaining high quality. In addition to making drinks, Lost Larson baristas are willing to help the rest of the team out in any way necessary and provide support to the overall bakery service. As a part of the front of house team, baristas are prepared to complete any other non-barista related tasks. Our baristas are ready to provide a warm environment by engaging with guests, describe all our offerings in detail, and make suggestions.
General Responsibilities & Expectations
- Demonstrate a commitment to providing an outstanding, hospitable experience for every guest.
- Dial in espresso according to roaster specs and adjust throughout day as needed.
- Prepare and serve all drinks—including a variety of espresso and non-espresso drinks—according to recipes and preparation techniques.
- Provide high-level, efficient coffee service during busy hours, and ask for help if needed.
- When not actively making drinks or completing barista prep, assist the front of house team by taking orders, preparing bakery orders, running food, and preparing/restocking supplies.
- Maintain stock of and prepare all syrups, cold brew, and other batch drinks.
- Clean and sanitize all work areas, equipment, and machinery.
- Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
- Complete other tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Weekend availability.
