Line Cook
Glen Ellen Star is looking to hire a full-time Line Cook to join their team. Line Cook duties will consist of assisting the kitchen staff with their daily tasks, your principal goal will be to prepare meals out of our wood fired oven that meet the chef’s exact specifications.
Responsibilities
Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
Clean up station and take care of leftover food
Stock inventory appropriately
Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion

Benefits stipend after 30 days. 2 weeks PTO. Tips paid out nightly on top of hourly after training is completed. Tips generally add an extra $5 per hour.
