Heirloom at the St. Laurent, New Jersey’s best restaurant of 2022, is seeking qualified candidates to join their foh team! We’re passionate about working with like-minded individuals, creating a healthy work culture, and providing our customers with a consistently excellent experience. To realize our expectations, we seek to create an environment of inclusion, growth and excellence within the company, starting with our frontline team members.

Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Service guests at the bar and in the dining room
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, create memorable guest experiences
  • Maintain a current knowledge of all food and beverage menus, including the full wine list of smaller producers, grape varietals, etc. 

Requirements for Success:

  • Existing knowledge of food, wine, spirits, cocktails, and beer
  • Ability to communicate clearly and efficiently
  • Commitment to excellence
  • Desire to learn 
  • Positive attitude
  • Passion for food, beverage, and hospitality
  • Ability to work cleanly and maintain attention to detail
  • At least 3 years' experience in a high volume environment and/or working in a high end restauarant. 

Compensation Details

Compensation: Salary/Hourly ($50.00)

Heirloom @ The St. Laurent offers a three-course prix fixe experience using the freshest local ingredients for New American dining that is globally inspired in our open kitchen.

The food in all our spaces is created by Heirloom Kitchen’s Chef David Viana alongside Executive Chef Josh Pierson. Chef Viana descends from world-class kitchens including Eleven Madison Park and Two Star Michelin restaurant Villa Joya in Portugal. He has been nominated for a James Beard Award (Best Chef in the Mid-Atlantic Region 2018) and was also a competitor on Bravo’s Top Chef Season 16: Kentucky.
