Yes, this position also comes with the perk of having most weekends off!

 

The ideal candidate is extremely comfortable performing all FOH duties within a full service bar/restaurant; has extensive food, beer & spirits knowledge; and excels at personnel management, training, accounting entry (Quick Books), marketing, and problem solving. Title: Assistant General Manager

Reports to: General Manager

 

Required of all applicants:

- 2+ years management experience within a restaurant or bar

- 6+ years restaurant and/or bar experience

- Exceptional hospitality and naturally warm/welcoming personality

- Capability to oversee a staff of 40+ employees

- Ability to remain calm, composed and professional in ALL circumstances

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges

Duties:

- Enforce service guidelines for FOH

- Create & administer knowledge tests

- Lead pre-shift meetings

- Conduct special event sales and client communications

- Staff scheduling

- Oversee monthly inventory

- Close the restaurant with care and consideration
