Summary/Objective 
The Director of Beverage Analytics  is responsible for overseeing the Beverage program at all Schulson Collective Restaurants

Essential Functions

  1. Oversees and assists Restaurant Beverage Managers in the hiring, training and counseling of hourly bar staff.
  2. Oversees and assists Restaurant Beverage Managers in the completion of beverage inventory, ordering, and budgeting, waste management.
  3. Oversees P&L of all beverage programs within Schulson Collective Restaurants
  1. Cultivate business operation recommendations and changes based on beverage analytic findings.
  2. Stay current on business analytics trends, benchmarking statistics, and Guest behavior/satisfaction research in the beverage industry.
  3. Proactively identify gaps and opportunities in key areas of analytics and work with cross-functional teams to make improvements.
  1. Ensures standards for product quality and service are maintained at all times.
  1. Development and evolution of cost-effective beverage programs
  1. Develop seasonal cocktail menu; displays creativity and originality while staying in line with industry trends, budget, and ensuring proper cost analysis.
  2. Ensures staff is trained and knowledgeable on new cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverage.
  3. Builds and maintains relationships with vendors, selects new products and follows industry trends and stays within company financial parameters.
  4. Monitors liquor, wine, beer, coffee, non-alcoholic beverage costs and labor costs.
  5. Consistently meets standards outlined within Schulson Collective Core Values.
  6. Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position is responsible for financially overseeing Beverage Managers and hourly bar staff.

 

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee may spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.

Required Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) Restaurant Management, Hospitality Management, Finance or related field preferred.
  2. Three (3) or more years of experience in Restaurant/Bar/Finance Management
  3. Knowledge of industry trends, menu creation, coaching/training and building Restaurant Management teams.
  1. Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office products, DolceClock, Toast or similar POS systems, Restaurant 365, Resy, and TripleSeat.
  1. Excellent written and verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  2. Must be able to work flexible hours and days. Must exhibit top-notch teamwork.
