Aside from culinary training, you must have strong leadership skills and the ability to manage food and labor costs. Applicants must have experience in independent restaurants and scratch kitchens. Minimum of 2 years experience at Sous Chef or higher level.
Main duties include recipe development and costing, ordering and inventory control, scheduling, training and mentoring kitchen staff, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards.
