About the position:
We are seeking a full time Server to assist with service. We are a very small team, so this position requires a willingness to take on a variety of responsibilities and help with all aspects of FOH service. The ideal candidate is self-motivated to build knowledge while upholding excellent standards of service, attention to detail and is intentionally organized. Wine and spirit knowledge is a plus, but we are willing to develop the right person.
About the restaurant:
GOZU is a tasting menu experience deeply focused on elevating the Wagyu breed while displaying its versatility and nuance through the preparation of the animal in its entirety. We are an upscale restaurant melding two styles of cuisine; kappo and robata located in San Francisco’s Financial district. Our dining room seats 31 guests around an open fire hearth and also features a separate whisky lounge offering an array of beverages with a focus on rare and allocated Japanese Whisky. We are open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday.
Details:
Full time hourly paid position Tuesday through Saturday nights (full availability for these shifts is a must)
