COVER 3 Anderson Lane and COVER 3 Round Rock are looking for a host to join the team.  The host is an important part of our restaurant, as he/she provides the first and last impression of the guest’s experience. Duties include seating guests, answering phones and managing reservations.  A positive attitude and friendly demeanor are essential.

Responsibilities:

• Greet each guest and facilitate the guest experience by welcoming them in a friendly and professional manner
• Seat guests according to rotation and server availability, managing reservations and implementing a wait list as needed
• Escort guests to their table
• Communicate guest concerns to the manager when appropriate
• Answer phones, accurately recording reservations and takeout orders, directing callers and taking messages as needed
• Assist with the pick-up of takeout orders
• Acknowledge guests when leaving the restaurant, wishing them farewell and inviting them back
• Maintains a clean, organized and well stocked host area
• Assists fellow team members when appropriate

Qualifications:

• Prior host experience is not required but customer service experience is helpful
• Ability to build rapport with guests and work effectively as part of the team
• Ability to learn and apply policies and procedures.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
