Workshop Kitchen & Bar, a Modern Californian restaurant is actively searching for team members for its newly opened location on La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles.
Job description:
Interact with the restaurant guests, fellow staff members, and managers in a polite, courteous, and hospitable manner to ensure an exemplary dining experience. Also actively takes orders, makes personal recommendations, conduct full and complete food/wine/beverage service, and monitors guests’ dining experience.
Required skills:
Working knowledge of contemporary cooking, old and new world wines, craft cocktails, steps of service.
Must be excellent with people and have a great personality, confidence, well spoken,
3 to 5 years similar serving experience required.
3 to 4 dinner shifts per week available.
Knowledge of food and wine liquors
Team-oriented environment
Serves all alcoholic beverages in accordance with all state regulations and alcohol awareness training standards.
Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
Compensation and Benefits:
Hourly wage $16.04 + Tips
Participation in Workshop Kitchen and Bar LLC’s employer-based health care insurance plan.
Participation in Workshop Kitchen and Bar LLC’s employer-based 401K-retirement plan, with matching employer contributions up to 4% of employee’s annual earnings. Eligibility requires a six-month period of active employment with semi-annual enrollment dates of March 1 and September 1.
