Job Details

We seek an enthusiastic and capable Cocktail Server to join our exceptional team of service leaders.
This role is responsible for always providing prompt and friendly food and beverage service to our guests by following the Restaurant Brand Standard.
Cocktail Server Responsibilities:

  • Taking orders, talking with customers, recommending items on the menu, serving food, and keeping accurate bills
  • Handling multiple tables, multi-tasking, and attending to customer’s needs in a timely manner
  • Cleaning, clearing tables, and returning plates and utensils to the kitchen area
  • Preparing stock items such as straws, and napkins during opening and closing shifts
  • Keeping up with food and beverage menu items, learning the items to be knowledgeable and make recommendations
  • Responsible for taking inventory of supplies and ingredients
  • Ensuring the proper age of customers before serving alcoholic beverages

Cocktail Server Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in serving beverages, fine dining, or restaurant establishment is preferred
  • Ability to physically carry heavy trays, walk, stand, and perform job duties
  • Cocktail waitress must have a friendly attitude and be attentive
  • Must be knowledgeable in alcoholic beverages such as cocktails, beer, and wine
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement to serve alcohol
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service with high quality service
  • Keeps compliance of all local, state, and federal liquor laws
  • Must be available to work during peak hours, including weekends, holidays, and evenings

Le Jardinier is a modern vegetable-driven restaurant created by Michelin-starred Chef Alain Verzeroli, longtime protégé of legendary French chef Joël Robuchon, who also trained under Alain Passard at Arpège and Guy Savoy at Taillevent in Paris. The team includes Executive Pastry Chef Salvatore Martone, who worked with Robuchon for 13 years at Restaurant Joël Robuchon in Las Vegas as well as L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon in New York, and Head Baker Tetsuya Yamaguchi, who worked with Robuchon for over 20 years at his restaurants around the world. Designed by award-winning French architect Joseph Dirand, the restaurant is situated in the new luxury condominium 100 East 53rd Street, developed by Aby Rosen, and designed by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Norman Foster. Le Jardinier (the French word for gardener) will feature approachable yet refined vegetable-driven dishes, rooted in classic French technique. Chef Verzeroli has created a menu where plants play a prominent role: local, seasonal fruits and vegetables, fresh herbs, and greens are complemented by fish, meat and poultry. The menu also features several vegetarian and gluten-free options.
