HIRING IMMEDIATELY -Seeking passionate, professional, fun-loving hosts and hostesses for Osteria Morini. The restaurant is located at Roosevelt Field Mall and features a spacious dining room, full bar, and comfortable outside patio for al fresco dining. Since opening in October 2019, Morini is highly regarded as one of the Top Italian Restaurants in Long Island.
Osteria Morini operates as part of Altamarea Group (Highly-acclaimed Marea & Ai Fiori), an award-winning global hospitality firm with 15 restaurants worldwide and, through its talented team of employees, creates special memories through exceptional hospitality, delivering the highest level of food and service across distinct brands and concepts. Responsibilities include:
- Greet upon arrival and interact with guests in a professional, warm and courteous manner
- Navigate reservations platform and client database proficiently
- Exhibit knowledge of Morini’s menus, culinary style and concept, reservations policies, operating hours, and other facts about the restaurants and be able to address common guest inquiries
- Handle various guest interactions, including but not limited to reservations, confirmation calls, guest reservation requests, and pick-up/delivery-related matters
- Develop guest relationships and communicate pertinent information to management team
- Maintain clean dining room and restaurant and adhere to all health and safety standards
Requirements include:
- Substantive host and reservationist experience required
- Strong restaurant and food knowledge with attention to detail
- Genuine passion for restaurant hospitality and service
- Energetic and friendly personality, with strong willingness and ability to work as part of a cohesive team and to support colleagues regardless of role, and a positive communication style
- Ability to multi-task and perform in high-volume, high-intensity restaurant
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs
