Welcome to Pappe, where we bring authentic dishes from our homeland to the heart of Washington DC. Indian cuisine is all about soul, and we are happy to share a bit of ours with the neighborhood.
At Pappe, the menu is focused primarily on north Indian cuisine with a few dishes from the south like Fish Chittinad, Allepey Fish Curry and Goan Crab Pav. Sanjay Mandhaiya (Executie chef), takes great pride in his cuisine. We use Seasonal produce, fresh meats and poultry. Our menu Changes according to the fresh available ingredients.
We are looking for experience servers who are able to balance volume with extensive points of service and do so efficiently, along with providing exceptional service, knowledge, and hospitality to our guests.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a fine dining or upscale casual restaurant is required, as well as an excellent work ethic, passion for superior service, outstanding food, beverage, and wine knowledge, attention to detail, communication skills, manners, and professionalism.
We are searching for a candidate that is passionate, focused, reliable and efficient.
Servers with experience in Indian cuisine are a plus but not required. This is a high-end personalized experience where we guide the guest through a carefully crafted experience. We will provide excellent training to ensure success.
Applicant should have:
- Experience in fine and or casual dining service
- Strong understanding of the sequence of service
- Passion for food and beverage
- Strong communication skills
- Willing to continuously learn to improve
