FūDO is a Japanese inspired restaurant located in the Chamblee and Brookhaven area with an inviting, industrial and creative space for craft cocktails and sushi.

Primary Purpose
We are looking an ecstatic and motivated individual for a full-time or part-time ENTRY-LEVEL Assistant Manger for the morning and/or night shift. At FUDO, you are responsible for managing the daily operations of the restaurant and performance management of employees. This postion is good for someone who has been in the restaruant industry for awhile and looking for a way to step into management or a recent graduate with a great work ethic! The Assistant Manager reports and works with the General Manager.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• 30-40 Hours/week
• Open and close the restaurant
• Ensure ALL employees are clocked in/out on time and wearing proper attire based on restaurant policy
• Ensure all departments opening/closing are finished and done correctly
• Check all department and manager log books to keep up-to-date information and incidents
• Check credit card batches
• Check Bar inventory
• Check 86 items from the Bar, Sushi Bar and Kitchen
• Close TAKE-OUT staff bank on POS at the end of the night
• Check on customers and employees throughout the day
• Supervision over ALL departments

Requirements:

• References from previous establishment will be required to verify employment.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of Restaurant Experience
• 1+ years Supervisory/ Managerial experience
• Excellent communication and customer service skills is a MUST
