Primary Objective of Position:

• Responsible for the set-up, break down, clean-up of all Banquet function rooms according to client and hotel specifications. Achieve a high level of guest satisfaction while maintaining high level of service as per Langham Hospitality Group and Forbes standards.

Responsibilities and Job Duties: 

• Responsible for set up of tables and chairs to meet BEO specifications
• Responsible for the breakdown of meeting rooms by removing china, glass, silver, buffet equipment, chairs and tables
• Responsible for the cleanliness of meeting rooms by vacuuming, dusting ledges, cleaning walls and doors
• Responsible for maintaining meeting room cleanliness during the functions
• Responsible for securing functions space at end of shift
• Responsible in assisting banquet servers, banquet kitchen staff, stewarding as needed
• Provide maximum levels of guest service while maintaining Langham Hospitality Group standards and Forbes service standards
• Thorough knowledge of Food and Beverage outlet operations including foods, beverages, supervisory aspects, service techniques, and guest interaction

Experience Required:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
