PB Bistro and Boulangerie is renown throughout Cape Cod as the go-to destination for its charming bistro as well as the boulangerie’s artisanal baked breads, croissants, sandwiches, and pastries.
Opened in 2009 by Chef Philippe Rispoli, hailing from Lyon, France, this bistro provides a taste of France in this coastal town. PB Boulangerie is perhaps the Cape’s best-kept secret – although it attracts scores and scores of customers who thrill to get their fill on the French la vie.
PB Boulangerie Bistro in open for dinner in a casual yet elegant atmosphere. It offers approachable classic and modern French cuisine, as well as an impeccable wine list.
This is a seasonal, part or full-time position, and an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience in an exciting environment. Owners Philippe Rispoli and Eliza Cox have dedicated themselves to working with the best people and allowing them to grow.
Main Responsibilities:
- Interact with and welcome guests in the Bistro
- Serve and sell alcoholic beverages
- Creativity to make new beverages and weekly specials
- Works with Executive Chef and kitchen staff to ensure a maximum level of sanitation and satisfaction.
- Effective communication throughout the restaurant.
- Provide information and directions to guests as needed
- Maintain stock of retail shelves and coolers
- Support a motivating environment.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years bartending experience
- Knowledge of wine, beer and spiritsAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships in all directions: ownership, co-workers, team members, and guests while listening and addressing concerns as needed.
- Ability to use POS system
- Must possess organizational, interpersonal skills, and excellent attention to detail.
- An outgoing team player with a positive attitude and problem-solving skills, willing to adapt and learn every day.
