As the Assistant Manager at Shiraz kitchen & wine bar, duties and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

• Report directly to restaurat owner regarding restaurant operations
• Demonstrate efficiency in Clover POS system
• Manage opening and closing procedures 
• Confirm restaurant reservations via phone, email, and Opentable 
• Manage pre- and post-service staff meetings 
• Perform training for new staff, manage payroll 
• Find solutions to any maintenance related issues 
• Perform weekly cost analysis for Food Cost 
• Make payments to food and beverage vendors
