Royal Sushi & Izakaya is seeking a General Manager to lead our team. The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our operation, including a bustling izakaya, extensive beverage program, high-end omakase service, and busy takeout and delivery.
We’re looking for candidates who are passionate about food, beverage, and hospitality, and who lead by example in terms of professionalism, menu and product knowledge, and decision making.
Candidates should have 3+ years of management experience in high-volume, high quality establishments. Experience with Japanese food and beverage is a plus, but is not required.
Duties include:
- Running seamless daily services in coordination with the BOH team
- Day-to-day operations in a high volume environment
- Leadership of the FOH team including scheduling, hiring, training, and ongoing education
- Administrative aspects of the business including payroll, building maintenance, monitoring costs, and managing vendor relationships
