Monroe Place is a small mom & pop sandwich shop in Culver City that is growing and looking for a team to work alongside us!

We are looking for a speedy and reliable Counter Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking orders, creating labels, keeping track of online ordering, and bagging orders, etc. while adhering to food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests as though they’re an old friend when the walk in through the door! 
• Taking in person, phone, and online orders.
• Working with your fellow sandwich artist to make sure they are preparing the orders needed, pouring all beverages, and assisting in getting orders out to guests. 
• Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and overall environment.
• Follow food safety guidelines and adhere to all health department and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed, you will have support!
• Maintain proper menu knowledge of all menu items and allergies. Keeping in mind of what accommodations can or cannot be made. 
• Making sure your station is fully stocked before service with everything you will need (bags, napkins, labels, cups, lids, etc.)
• Work with speed and sense of urgency. Remember, biggest mistakes happen when it’s slow! Every single order is important!
• Have a friendly demeanor and remember that every guest is important/you never know who can walk in through the door!

Working hours: approximately 9am-5pm. Part-time to start with room to extend to a full-time position and overall growth within the company.
