Role and Responsibilities:
- Create a warm and hospitable environment for everyone in our restaurant
- Provide a transporting and memorable guest experience
- Clearly communicate daily menu items and make thoughtful/informed recommendations to our guests
- Make cocktails to set standards and recipes for all guests.
- Maintain and clean and organized work area.
- Keep bar top free of dirty plates, glasses, and silverware
- Accurately process payments
- Serve alcohol in accordance with Illinois Law
- Follow Health and Safety Standards when handling food and beverages
- Maintain high level of product and menu knowledge
- Partake in regular testing to ensure product knowledge is to standard
- Attend regularly scheduled training meetings to develop knowledge and skills
Skills / Experience:
- 2yrs previous bartending experience in similar style of restaurant
- Experience with TouchBistro or similar POS
- Excellent listener & communicator
- Focused
- Ability to multitask
- Team player
- Positive Attitude
- Illinois Food Handler Certificate
- Illinois Basset Certificate
Reports to:
- General Manager
- Additional Restaurant Leadership
Pay Rate: $15 per hour plus tips

Hours of operation:
- Lunch: Monday-Friday 11am-3pm
- Dinner: Monday-Friday 4pm-9pm
Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($15.00) plus tips

The hours of operation will be Monday through Friday for lunch (11-3pm), and a happy hour menu offering from 4-8pm. We will not be open on weekends. For the lunch time frame, we will have a combo barista/bartender, prepackaged small sandwiches, and small café. For the happy hour time frame, we will showcase craft cocktail items and a separate menu to be served.
