Job Details

North Pond, a fine dining restaurant with 26 years of service, is looking for a Chef de Partie.

We are in the heart of Lincoln Park overlooking the pond and beautiful Chicago skyline. The ideal candidate will play an important role in delighting our guests and working with a seasoned team of professionals. Previous fine dining experience is strongly recommended. You must have interpersonal skills: empathy, patience, consultation, mediation, tolerance, cooperation, and cultural competence.

It is a full-time role (at least 40 hours) Thursday- Sunday with three days off and competitive pay.
We personally invest in the growth of our employees, and as such, you will work closely with our Chefs and be a part of the creative process, ordering and food costing. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to showcase their skills and work closely with the area’s best farmers and pristine seasonal produce. In addition, you will take part in our gardening and composting program and tend to the rooftop garden’s vegetables and herbs.

We deliver to our staff the highest standards of respect and safety, along with some fun. We have developed comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures to ensure everyone’s well-being.
