Scofflaw Group is hiring a General Manager for Scofflaw.

Scofflaw is a cockail bar with a small kitchen, serving dinner and drinks seven nights a week. We are looking for a General Manager who focuses on hospitality, works with staff to provide great guest experiences, and has at least two years of General Management experience in a bar or restaurant.

General Manager Responsibilities:

Lead & manager staff, including hiring/onboarding, scheduling, terminations.
Work with AGM, Chef, and floor/kitchen manager to ensure consistent quality service.
Lead with a high commitment to hospitality and customer service.
Food & Beverage ordering oversight and execution for Cost of Goods control.
Maintain relationships with our vendors and representatives.
Enforce Scofflaw Group policies and procedures.
Daily financial review and execution.
Social Media posting.
Arranging equipment and property maintenance.
Weekly manager meetings.
Be on property as a closing manager at least 3 shifts per week (2AM closing time)

Requirements:

Two years of General Manager experience in a high volume restaurant or bar. We will only be interviewing candidates with at least two years GM experience.
Basset Certification.
Chicago Food Manager Certification.
Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Suite.
Financial literacy to handle day-to-day banking and cash handling.
Night and Weekend availability.
~45 hour work week.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Must be able to climb stairs.
Must be able to least at least 50 pounds.
