The Salt Line Ballston is Seeking a General Manager.

Building on the tremendous success and established following of The Salt Line (DC), Longshot Hospitality opened its second The Salt Line location in the bustling and up and coming Ballston neighborhood in October 2021. The Salt Line #2 opened to immediate success and high praise and accolades from press and guests alike and in just its first year it has already been recognized as one of the premier dining locations in Northern Va and the greater DC area. Under the direction of a strong ownership presence, an excellent Chef and kitchen team, and a very strong foh management and hourly team, the restaurant has continued to evolve and firmly establish itself as a cornerstone of the Ballston neighborhood dining scene and is poised to have an even bigger and better year #2 in 2023. All we are looking for now is the perfect GM captain to steer the ship! 

We are seeking a General Manager with both fine dining and high volume experience. Candidates should have 2+ years of General Manager experience with a proven track record of stable leadership, excellent team building skills, and positive financial results. Additionally candidates should have a very solid food and beverage knowledge and above all a genuine and infectious passion for hospitality.

The Salt Line is brought to life by Long Shot Hospitality restaurant group. Long Shot is a team of veteran restaurant professionals committed to providing signature dining experiences built around world class food, ambience and hospitality. The Salt Line concept combines the spirit of a New England Style Raw Bar and Fish House with the bounty of the Chesapeake and the energy of the Nation’s Capital. The original The Salt Line, located across the street from Nats park in the Navy Yard neighborhood, has established itself as one of the best and busiest restaurants in Washington DC. Both neighborhood go-to spot and acclaimed dining destination, TSL has received numerous accolades since opening in fall of 2017, including a coveted three stars from the Washington Post's Tom Sietsema. the 2019 Rammy for Chef of the Year to Kyle Bailey, and the 2020 Rammy for Favorite Gathering Place.

Chef Bailey's menu draws inspiration from New England Classics and showcases his creative talents with seafood charcuterie, crudos, and signature raw bar offerings. The beverage program boasts an extensive cocktail and craft beer list, drawing heavily from NE & local breweries.
