Rose’s Restaurant Group (by James Beard Award winner Chef Aaron Silverman) is seeking an Assistant General Manager for Little Pearl.

Who we are looking for:

Our ideal candidate is someone who most importantly, has a real passion for making other people happy. Significant management experience in high quality restaurant operations is required for this position.

What the job looks like:

The Assistant General Manager is a leader before anything else. They are someone who inspires and motivates their team. They challenge them and reward them as well.

Responsibilities of the Assistant General Manager include overseeing the day-to-day operations, (both administrative duties and service management), assisting in staff training and education, working with the General Manager to shape and build Little Pearl’s wine program, and coming up with new and creative approaches to improve the operations of a mixed use/dual concept operation.

Required Skills:

Ability to lift 40+ lbs

Ability to ascend/descend stairs many times per shift

Coffee knowledge or desire to learn more about coffee

In depth wine service knowledge

Experience working with POS systems

Server/bartender/sommelier floor experience

Preferred Skills

CMS/WSET Certification

P&L management experience

Staff management & Training of 20+ employees

Understanding of HR compliance

Payroll & Scheduling experience
