Rezdôra is a Michelin Starred (NYTimes 3-Star) Italian Restaurant dedicated to the food & hospitality of the Emilia Romagna region in Italy. The restaurant was founded by CIA graduate chef Stefano Secchi and entrepreneur David Switzer. Mr. Secchi’s father is from Italy and he has worked and cooked in the homeland for 3 years including at Osteria Francescana, All’Enoteca and Hosteria Giusti, based in Modena, Emilia Romagna and Canale, Piemonte respectively.
The person in this role will perform a full range of administrative responsibilities to support Rezdôra and any future projects.
We are looking for someone who is a self-starter who must have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are essential for this position. Additionally, this person must have a high tolerance for multi-tasking, is comfortable handling highly confidential information
and thrives in a very fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and focus on
customer service.
Job Details
Responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to the below:
• Assist with Health Department inspections, permits, maintenance reports and follow-ups as
needed
• Assist the Private Events manager to update event collateral and printed materials including
menus, menu cards and labels and/or place cards
• Assist in the development of outreach and competitive set research
• Maintain flow of communication between our management team, PR team and associates
• Monitor/maintain website information, including menu and promotions
• Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments and applicable arrangements for our managers and the restaurant as a whole
• Demonstrate creative problem-solving solutions on a daily basis
• Administrative recruiting assignments and support on projects as needed
•Assist with office correspondence by responding to general emails and sorting through mail
• Assist in weekly service check-ins with all operating entities
•Manage Bento Box and Rezdôra merchandise
•Manage cleaning schedule for our townhouse around the private dining schedule
The ideal candidate will have the following:
•Education in hospitality and/or experience in luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant is
preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to coordinate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
• Ability to professionally present Rezdôra and future projects as a luxury, private event venue
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience conducting research
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Demonstrate meticulous organization and time-management skills
• Takes initiative and demonstrates flexibility when priorities shift
• Ability to deliver results and meet tight deadlines and targets
• Must be comfortable with conflict resolution
• Capable of working in a diverse environment
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary $60-65K
