The bartender position at the Pyramid Club requires that you interact one on one with guests dining in the club.  Service will include taking guest orders at the bar and occasionally table side, making craft cocktails, helping members navigate beverage lists,  utilizing club service standards, anticipate and monitoring guests’ needs and ensure satisfaction.  Of most importance is developing relationships with our members to ensure a next level experience.  Daily responsibilities will also include preparing dining rooms and bar area for service,  keeping all areas clean and immaculate.  Bartenders are required to maintain top level product knowledge, knowing all aspects of the food menu and beverage offerings as well as participating in wine/spirit education in daily line-ups.

 

Responsibilities

Bartender candidates require knowledge and skill while consistently implementing steps of service in an elevated dining room setting.  Providing guests exceptional service throughout all phases of their experience at the club while commanding full menu knowledge and preparation methods of both food and beverages.  Completion of all opening and closing side work responsibilities.   Attending daily pre-shift meetings.  Maintaining all equipment, tools, and supplies while following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, department and local health department, communicate any equipment problems with management. The most important goals of being a part of the Pyramid Club team are always showing enthusiam for service, exuding positivity and working well as a team to accomplish the task at hand - creating a memorable experience for our guests and members!

 

Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience as a bartender, including experience in high end restaurants, hotel or club environment. Fine dining experience a plus.  Extensive knowledge of food, wine, spirits, and beer.   Must possess a positive attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.  Must be self-motivated, polite, energetic and express a willingness to learn.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
