Job Details
Working in collaboration with executive leadership, you will be responsible for developing and managing systems for financial management at Heirloom Hospitality. You are the guardian for all incoming and outgoing financial transactions. You oversee; accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, financial compliance, and tax. You train and hold accountable senior restaurant leadership Heirloom Hospitality financial standards. As a member of the executive committee, you report financials to the C-Suite and ownership. You maintain and develop relationships with key accounting support vendors.
- Preparation of weekly, period, and annual financial statements and budgets.
- Review daily income and depository
- Identify and analyze variance to budgets in operational statements.
- Approve and audit weekly payroll for accuracy.
- System management of RASI (accounting system), ADP in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources, NCR Aloha POS tax, audit and reporting accuracy and third party credit card processing through Amex, Stripe, ect.
- You supervise cash management through banking platform and tie into accounting software.
- Responsible for all tax submittals and compliance for local, state and federal taxes.
- Oversight and audit of restaurant weekly inventory process.
- Corporate Amex reconciliation and audit.
- Vendor setup in accounting software, and monthly statement reviews.
- Expense report processing.
- Capital expense and depreciation account management.
- You own all corporate SOPs for internal controls and monthly restaurant IC audits.
- You have a thorough knowledge of restaurant operations and synergies to accounting and finance.
- Prepare all special reporting as assigned.
- Review and closed period end activities every four weeks.
- Generate and manage pre-opening budgets for all new restaurant projects.
- Train and hold accountable restaurant leadership with best-in-class accounting standards and controls.
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in Accounting or Finance. Hospitality specialization preferred.
- 5+ year’s experience in food and beverage operations in financial control and management roles. Independent restaurant operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of GAAP. Strong analytical, problem solving, and time management skills.
- Multi-state financial management preferred.
- CPA License preferred
This is a full-time position, that will work out of the corporate office in Birmingham, Michigan and periodically on-site at our restaurant locations. Monday – Friday schedule, you may answer a few calls or emails on the weekend but flexibility during the week allows for an excellent work life balance. Travel nationally may be required to support new store openings. This position will be responsible for managing one direct report.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($80,000.00 - $110,000.00)
