SFC Bars is looking for an Assistant General Manager for the PHS Pop Up Cocktail Garden Manayunk location.  Our ideal candidate has 3+ years experience in Hospitality Management, a solid work ethic, an open mind and a love of the great outdoors.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure a great Guest experience
• Lead by example and foster a positive work environment for all staff while maintaining standards of service
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests
• Foster open communication between staff and management
• Follow operational systems and procedures and understand how to implement them
• Hire, train, retain, and develop staff to take on additional roles (cross training)
• Drive Guest engagement within the garden while developing relationships within the community
• Understand and practice safe food and beverage handling procedures 
• Understand and demonstrate the proper policies and regulations of responsible alcohol sales and service
• Communicate and embody SFC Bar’s culture and service standards
• Oversee fulfillment of opening and closing procedures
• Work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
• Possess a knowledge and understanding of all administrative systems, including but not limited to POS Systems, Reservations Systems, Event Protocol, Payroll and invoicing/inventory management systems
• Must be effective in anticipating, preventing, identifying, and solving problems as necessary
• Work with the management team and keep them informed of any pertinent issues as they arise
• Be available throughout the Garden and assist staff during service
• Be solution oriented and able to multitask
