Mandu, Washington DC's original Korean restaurant, is looking for a Chef de Cuisine to work with the mother and son duo of Yesoon and Danny Lee.
We are looking for a chef that is excited to learn the history of Korean cuisine and culture, and express that knowledge through our menu, with dishes ranging from classic ferments to slow braises to current popular street foods. The chef will work in tandem with our wonderful Front of House team, as Mandu truly is a family environment.
Chef Danny Lee is also a co-founder and chef of The Fried Rice Collective, consisting of the award winning CHIKO restaurants as well as modern Korean restaurant Anju. Danny was nominated for Best Chef - Mid Atlantic for the 2020 James Beard Foundation Awards.
Compensation Details
Compensation: Salary ($55,000.00 - $70,000.00)
