About Us
TALEA’s brewery and taproom in Williamsburg, Brooklyn opened in March 2021 with an additional taproom that opened in Spring 2022. We are NYC’s only female-founded production brewery. Our hospitality-focused experience showcases our signature low-bitterness, fruit-forward beers, boasts unique beer cocktails, and features a small, curated food program. With our 20-barrel brew house and pilot system, we brew crowd favorites as well as experimental small batch beers, all with the mission of creating easy-to-love beers “perhaps to replace that glass of rosé” (Florence Fabricant, The New York Times).
The Role
TALEA is looking for an eager and hard-working hospitality & beer lover to manage our front-of-house (FOH) taproom and staff.
The FOH Floor Manager will be responsible for opening/closing the taproom 3-5 days per week. You’ll be working independently at times, so you must be comfortable wearing many hats. Responsibilities include receiving deliveries, prepping coffee/pastries, opening the bar, pouring and serving beer, preparing small plates, and providing a smiling, friendly face for our team members and guests. The ability to multitask and prioritize across responsibilities are essential in this position.
Depending on the day, you may be working independently to supervise all staff, or in a supporting role to the Taproom Manager or General Manager. You may also be working closely with our Head of Hospitality, Director of Brand Experience and Private Events Manager to ensure overall service, events and pop-ups run smoothly.
As a member of the nimble TALEA team, you’ll be joining a growing company in its early stage - be prepared to get your hands dirty! We value autonomy, ambition, grit, and an insatiable desire to exceed expectations. If you’re looking for a fun, fast-paced, challenging opportunity, we’d love to hear from you. Not sure if you’re qualified? Throw your hat in the ring anyway, and send us a cover letter telling us why you’re a fit for the role!

- Is self-motivated and self-disciplined; takes initiative and work autonomously, bringing creative ideas to the table and seeing projects through to completion
