El Vez Fort Lauderdale, affiliated with STARR Restaurants, showcases classic Mexican fare with an emphasis on Baja-style cooking that celebrates the fresh seafood of the South Florida region. An array of Guacamoles, Ceviches and classics likes Mahi Mahi Tacos sit side-by-side on the extensive menu along with signature dishes like Grilled Whole Branzino Baja Style and Traditional Tacos al Carbon. For those on the move, El Vez also operates a grab-and-go counter at the entrance to the restaurant. Hot coffee, fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads and snacks are served daily to take to the beach or on the road.

We are now seeking a Manager who loves Mexican-cuisine along with the bustling energy of a busy restaurant like ours.

Qualified candidates will have:

• 2+ years of restaurant management experience in a busy/well-rated restaurant
• Experience hiring, training and mentoring a diverse team of hourly staff
• Basic computer and account knowledge including: Word, Excel, scheduling software, Open Table, Onboarding, & HR systems
• Strong food and wine knowledge with an eagerness to teach others
• Ability to lead by example to drive the success of the team and restaurant
